ABOUT THE ARTIST
Justin Fripp is an animator, illustrator, and storyboard artist who loves to create. With a passion for all things animated and an appreciation for art in all forms. With aspirations to become a professional animator and storyboard artist, Justin is honing his skills at SCAD.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My rendering style gives the impression of semi realism due to my blend of cartoon features and soft shading. My art is a reflection of my love for digital art and it’s ability to bridge art styles through the many tools it has to offer. My illustration and animation style is heavily influenced by Japanese animation and artworks. I love the fluidity in their motions as well as the crispness of their linework, and I implement that in my own works. I want my art to be a reflection of my appreciation for artistic culture, and I aim to improve and develop my style as I learn and grow as an artist.
